The Blue flowers are transfer patterns fired into the glaze with two designs, large paeony and small rose. The slop pail lid could be placed upside down in the pail, and the knob on the top had a hole in it so that it served as a funnel to catch the waste water from the basin.
Not all my lids have holes, so let me know if you want one with a hole.

two footbaths, one stoneware, one blue and white glazed. Shown left are two oval footbaths, which are later introductions to the range of items intended for the bedroom. The glazed stoneware footbath has lugs for lifting. The gloss white glazed oval footbath, with blue transfers inside and out, has finger holes in the handles.
